Acting was a bit better in the old trilogy because George only directed the first one.
I still think Episode 1 is the best of the new movies, it's the one that's closest to the old trilogy cause it's a tale. The second one ain't a movie it's a talky full of political shit and a few action scenes that doesn't work too well and the third one isn't even close to bring the tension it should have brought. The Anakin becoming Vader scene looks like it comes from a Mel Brooks movie.

BUT I still think that if I'd be 7 right now I'd still be a fan of the movies and would probably still be as an adult later cause nostalgy would kick in. So Jor, maybe it's not the nostalgy that makes you like the old one and hate the new ones but I think nostalgy will do that for the new generation and did that for a lot of us 30 years old folks

I need to run out and get the WM version of this for the extra DVD - probably try to do it lunch, but it will most likely be 8 o'clock tonight when I get out of here.

As soon as I track down the original versions on DVD I can die happy. I am still trying to find somplace that has transferred the Laserdisk version to DVD. If I can't I just might buy one of those VCR to DVD things for the computer and rip the VHS tape I have down to it.

They have a second DVD with it down here in the US. Nothing more than a DVD with C-3PO and R2-D2 telling you the story of Anikin and Luke Skywalker.

Probablly just a bunch of snippets from the 6 movies cut into a "Star Wars for Dummies" version of the movies [img]wink.gif[/img] But I'm getting it - just to piss off Jor
